Yucca filamentosa is a small, stemless evergreen shrub that forms clumps of sword-shaped deep-green leaves to 75cm in length. Towering spikes of creamy-white, bell-shaped flowers form in late summer to a height of around 2m. Adam’s needle and thread, as is otherwise known, creates a stunning focal point for a sunny, well-drained Mediterranean-style garden. We recommend planting in a position so as to avoid brushing past the foliage which has sharp tips and serrated edges. Height: 1m (3′). Spread: 1.5m (5′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
