Heart-shaped leaves with maroon undersides float on wine-red stems. Possibly one of the easiest houseplants to grow, Phildodendron is a fast-growing, climbing vine that offers plenty of scope for creative displays as it can be trained to tumble from shelving, cascade from a hanging pot, or climbed up a pole or wires. It is also a great air-purifying plant, filtering out toxins to keep your home or office fresh. Maximum height and spread: 1.2m (4ft).
