Lonicera Kamtschatica ‘Eisbar’

Despite its compact proportions, Lonicera kamtschatica ‘Eisbär’ bears enormous fruits of up to 4cm long! The oval-shaped, blue berries have a delicious, sweet flavour and are packed to the brim with vitamins and antioxidants. Use them in pies, cakes and jams or eat them fresh picked from the garden. Honeyberry plants are not just productive – their creamy yellow spring flowers have plenty of ornamental value too. Grow them in shrub borders or plant a group in the kitchen garden. These hardy deciduous shrubs are self fertile but planting them in close proximity to one another will improve pollination and increase your crop of tasty fruits. Height: 1.5m (5′).
