Lilacs are well-loved by gardeners for their sweetly perfumed, late spring blooms. This elegant trio offers 3 choice varieties that are less commonly seen in UK gardens, but certainly deserve to be more widely grown! These hardy, deciduous shrubs are cottage garden essentials – easy to grow and enchanting as a cut flower. Grow them in sunny borders, or as stand-alone specimens to break up wide expanses of lawn.
