A popular variety that is often found in UK vineyards. Grape βRegentβ is an early ripening variety, producing excellent quality fruits with very high sugar content – ideal for wine and juice making. In good growing years they are sweet enough to be eaten as a dessert variety. The large, lobed leaves make an attractive display, particularly in autumn when they turn to rich orange-red and yellow. Height of cordon trained vine: 1.8m (6β). Spread of cordon trained vine: 1.5m (5β). Untrained plants may reach up to 8m (26β).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
