Grape ‘Golden Champion’

Grape ‘Golden Champion’ is a richly flavoured grape, mainly enjoyed as an exquisite table variety but also suitable for wine-making. One of the best dessert grapes for the UK climate. Produces very large clusters of large, elliptical, golden yellow grapes. Good resistance to pests and diseases and high cropping potential.

As well as crops of tasty grapes, grapevines also make attractive garden features. These vigorous vines will quickly cover a trellis or pergola, their large lobed leaves providing shade and privacy as well as lovely autumn colour.

Season: Approximately early-October

Height of cordon trained vine: 1.8m (6′). Spread of cordon trained vine: 1.5m (5′). Untrained plants may reach up to 8m (26′).
