Delosperma Echinatum

From South Africa comes this cute little succulent, Delosperma echinatum or the Pickle Plant, named after its fat, pickle-like leaves which are smothered in soft, glistening white hairs. With trailing foliage, it makes a pretty plant for tumbling over a decorative container, enjoying bright light and only moderate watering. Small, yellow, daisy-like flowers are occasionally produced in the right conditions. Height and Spread: 30cm (12in).
