This spectacular, palm-like plant is actually an ancient Cycad and was once grazed by dinosaurs in the Jurassic jungle! Having been around for millions of years, Cycas revoluta makes a resilient houseplant which will survive some neglect. Itβs famous for its dramatic, feathery fronds which erupt from a shaggy trunk, curving gracefully as they mature. In summer, plants can be brought outside to stand on a sunny patio. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Maximum height: 1.5m (60in). Spread: 60cm (24in).
Please note: all parts of this plant are toxic.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
