This fantastic Japanese Maple can be grown as a deciduous shrub or small tree with a spectacular rounded shape. The narrowly 7-lobed foliage is deep red-purple in spring with recurved margins, becoming greener in summer and orange-red in autumn. Acer palmatum ‘Trompenburg’ has a slow growing habit, making this plant not only distinctive amongst other Maple’s, but ideal for small gardens with limited space, where it can be planted in a large container or in the ground. Height & Spread: 4m (13′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
