Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Pallida’ bears spidery, sulphur-yellow flowers with a sweet perfume that carries on the chilly winter air. From December through to February this hardy, deciduous shrub provides a rare splash of colour in the winter garden. The summer foliage that follows is unremarkable, blending gently with other plants and forming a useful background shrub. However, Autumn sees it step back into the spotlight when its foliage turns to a blaze of yellow, orange and crimson. Awarded and RHS AGM, this resilkoiuant shrub makes an excellent choice for the back of large borders and woodland edges. Height and spread: 4m (13’).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
