A fairly recent introduction which, unlike other Hydrangea’s, produces flowers on both new and old stems. Hydrangea serrata ‘Cotton Candy’ is a compact, hardy shrub that will tolerate being grown in a patio pot or in the garden. In neutral to alkaline soil, semi-double pink flowers will appear, but if on acidic soil, they emerge blue. The magnificent blooms are also used for cut flowers as they are particularly long-lasting. Its deciduous, serrated, dark green foliage turns to red in autumn for an extra splash of colour. Height & Spread: 100cm (39″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
