Awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, this delightful little hardy perennial is perfect for filling gaps in rockeries and gravel gardens. From April to May, Pulsatilla vulgaris produces bright purple flowers above clumps of finely dissected, downy foliage. Attractive, furry seedheads replace the flowers as they fade, extending the season of interest into summer. Grow this hardy perennial where it can be left to establish without disturbance, and it will seed about to create spreading groups. Height and spread: 20cm (8″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
