Britain’s best known dessert cherry that reliably produces firm, dark red fleshed, good sized fruits with the sweetest flavour. The crop can be harvested from mid July to August. A Canadian bred variety, Cherry ‘Stella’ makes a productive and attractive tree both in flower or when laden with fruit.
This variety is self-fertile and does not require a pollination partner. You can expect upwards of 5kg (11lbs) of cherries per tree, saving
you money compared to paying supermarket prices. Supplied as a one year old, 1.2m – 1.5m high, bare root ‘whip’ plant with no branches. This makes them easy to plant and quick and easy to establish.
Supplied on Semi vigorous Colt rootstock which will reach a mature height of 5m (16′)

Estimated time to best yields: 6-7 years.
