Sweet orange trees are a decorative and productive addition to the spring and summer garden and will thrive in a conservatory or on a windowsill through autumn and winter for year round use and interest.
Glossy, aromatic, evergreen foliage gives year-round presence, whilst highly fragrant clusters of waxy white flowers appear through spring and summer. Fruit is then produced in different stages of ripeness all year round, for regular picking.
Orange trees are capable of surviving brief periods below 0C, but are best grown in large containers and moved indoors to a bright frost free position from autumn to spring. This tree is self fertile and will not need a pollination companion.
