Blackberry ‘Black Butte’

The massive fruits of Blackberry ‘Black Butte’ are a real mouthful! Each juicy berry is up to 5cm (2″) in length and weighs around 12g – almost twice the size of normal blackberries. The flavoursome berries can be harvested from July and make a show stopping addition to desserts, whether cooked or eaten fresh from the plant. Blackberry ‘Black Butte’ is self fertile, with a vigorous, trailing habit and super hardy disposition. Like all Blackberries, this tough, resilient cultivar needs little attention but will reward you with a bumper crop year after year. Perfect for the allotment, or a sunny corner of the vegetable plot. Height and spread: 2m (6’).
