This neat, compact variety produces enormous yields of glossy blackcurrants with a superb flavour. The fruits of Blackcurrant ‘Ben Sarek’ can be picked from mid-July and used in jams, jellies, crumbles and sauces, or eaten fresh as a dessert fruit. The fruits are born in short strings that make them particularly easy to pick, without damaging the fruits. This vigorous, heavy cropping variety also shows good frost and mildew resistance. Height and spread: 120cm (47″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
