Blueberry ‘Spartan’

A mid to late season cropper, producing good yields of tasty blue-black coloured berries from July to August. Blueberry ‘Spartan’ is an attractive bushy plant with white spring flowers that are loved by pollinating insects. In autumn, the small leaves turn to bright shades of orange and red which make a superb feature in mixed shrub borders, containers or the kitchen garden. Like all Blueberries, this variety is self fertile but will produce heavy and more reliable crops if grown with another variety for improved pollination. Height: 2m (78″). Spread 1.5m (59″).
