Grape ‘Zilga’

A very hardy variety from Latvia which is highly suited to the UK climate. Grape ‘Zilga’ produces big clusters of large, red dessert grapes in October. Resistant to frost, mildew and grey mould.

As well as crops of tasty grapes, grapevines also make attractive garden features. These vigorous vines will quickly cover a trellis or pergola, their large lobed leaves providing shade and privacy as well as lovely autumn colour.

Season: Early

Height of cordon trained vine: 1.8m (6′). Spread of cordon trained vine: 1.5m (5′). Untrained plants may reach up to 8m (26′).
